The Petty Cash Voucher is a handbook collection. The collection narrates a story through the titles of each book about the various inter-office proceedings that have to take place within the process of acquiring money reimbursements for instructors at an academic institution. The narrative is presented from an objective perspective, but the story is based on personal events, specifically my experience working as an office assistant for the Fashion Department at SAIC 07-09. The order of operations, proceedings, and daily dialogues completely based on protocol, routine and mediation is what mainly interested me and wanted to explore through this piece.
