My work deals with the interconnectivity between habitual mark making and material and how they relate to spoken and non-verbal language. I am drawn to both fibers and drawing for the intimacy they allow with materials. I explore formal elements of this intimacy once I become drawn to a certain mark, cut line, drawn line, stitched line, or even a crochet stitch.
