I explore feelings of anxiety, nostalgia, love, longing, and loss through the passage of time and obsessive making to change one's experience of these. Time intensive and repetitive processes are important to me as a way of externalizing internal emotions. Drawing from personal experiences as well as observations, I use labor-intensive techniques such as hand dying and hand stitching to add another layer of interconnectivity and intimacy to my work.
