Advanced Fiber Studio (Highlights)
It is in our histories, our silences, our solitude that we find the strength of our convictions and the weight of our hands. It is in this stillness... a quiet place for the eye to rest upon. It is in this chaos... a peaceful moment may someday emerge.
My process in engaged in the formalities and fluidity of painting, the processes of printing, the presence of sculpture, and the intimacy of video. My work seems to linger in the spaces between these— unwilling, or perhaps unable, to make a commitment. Through material investigation and experimentation, memories of landscapes (both vast and intimate), portraits (both public and private), and spaces (both sacred and profane) are redefined and reinterpreted.
