My work is an intersection between sculpture and fiber. I incorporate the sculptural process and techniques to understand the equipment that makes weavings. I am interested in looms as a tool that can be elevated along with the weaving. Loom as an equipment is not given the same importance as the weaving that comes off it. I focus on constructing my own loom with varied industrial and sculptural materials. Thus the process of making the loom itself usually takes longer than the weaving itself. Hence places more importance on the loom making rather than the weaving on it.
