As an artist collaborative, Amber Ginsburg, Carla Duarte, and Lia Rousset, share interests in material, performance and histories. Creating installations that suggest involvement through hands-on craft, formal choices are used to encourage activity and contemplation. The re-activation of everyday material is explored, and intention is given to the awareness of use and reuse of skill and material. Generating spaces designed for a shared experience, people are given the opportunity to consider themselves and each other as creative agents. By performing labor, a hands-on investigation into production becomes visible and questions our role in creating our surroundings.
