In both my sculptures and paintings, I am interested in the time unseen. The growth and fragility in the plastic and wax forms suggest the frail and vulnerable beginnings of so many life forms. The drawings are also influenced by these hidden moments and lean towards the imaginary. However, they are more inspired by the ability that textiles have to universality. I am intrigued by the concept of textiles and how what is woven and what is worn is influenced by nature, landscape, and architecture.
