Hannah Hirsekorn is an interdisciplinary artist who explores gift giving and lending as a form of consumerism protest and anarchy though oscillating reciprocations between all beings. Pointing to the possibility of moral bond as a currency and deconstructing standardized market value of material and labor, her work cherishes knowledge, reuse and empowerment through making. She strives to integrate the empowerment of knowing how things are made/work with a fine art practice through socially engaged work in the commons.
